St. Antony's Matriculation School

St. Antony’s Matriculation Higher Secondary School, located in Thiruthuraipoondi,Thiruvarur District. It is a Catholic co-educational institution established in 1975 - 1976 by the visionary Mr. P. Panneer Selvam under the aegis of St. Antony’s Educational Trust. Rooted in strong Christian values and driven by a commitment to serve, the school was founded to cater primarily the educational needs of the local community, especially students from underprivileged and rural backgrounds.
Though it operates as a minority educational institution, St.Antony’s warmly welcomes students of all faiths, castes, and communities, fostering a harmonious and inclusive environment.
We aim to provide a holistic education that nurtures every child’s spiritual, moral, intellectual, physical, and emotional growth.
Our legacy of discipline, dedication, and excellence stands strong. From a humble beginning with just 8 students, the school has grown to over 2,000 students and 80 committed teaching and non-teaching staff. Our students consistently achieve academic excellence and shine in sports and co-curricular arenas, with many alumni serving in government and private sectors including engineering and medical fields.
St. Antony’s School also upholds a strong sense of social responsibility. Our Trust supports numerous community welfare initiatives, including relief efforts during natural calamities, organizing medical camps, and offering skill development programs for the unemployed. We strive not only to educate but also to uplift, transform, and empower.
